my name is emily de lima. I am a Brazilian-American artist and designer based in Queens, NYC, working across various mediums.
I recently graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor's of architecture degree.
My work explores themes of origin, cultural sensitivity, and how things function, often examining our relationship with nature and how knowledge is passed through stories, traditions, and craft. I often think about how we as humans have used these methods to understand the meaning we create across time and place.
