I am aN Brazilian-american artist and designer based in Queens,NYC, with a focus on visual arts, architectural design, fashion, sculpture, and photography. I am currently an undergraduate architecture student at Cornell University in my final thesis semester. My work explores themes of origin, cultural sensitivity, and theoretical inquiries into how things function. I enjoy working with my hands, learning new crafts and figuring out how different people around the world have developed their own ways of making.
Through various mediums, my work often aims to explore our relationship with the natural world- How we interpret it, shape it, and pass down knowledge through stories, traditions and techniques. I'm drawn to movement and play, particularly through whimsical forms, Exploring curiosity, transformation, and the ways we make meaning across time and place.
